Folks, I've obviously done a poor job in this community's profile of providing guidelines for tag use.

Title: The Unanswered Question.
Author: Dusk Peterson.
Where to find me: Website, Dreamwidth blog, InsaneJournal mirror blog, LiveJournal mirror blog, duskpetersonbooks (e-mail list with announcements of my fiction).
Series: The Eternal Dungeon, a historical fantasy series set in a land where the psychologists wield whips. You don't need to have read the rest of the series to understand this story.
Categories: Original fiction. Male/male platonic feelings (main plot) and male/male erotic attraction (subplots). Mentor fiction and prisoner fiction.
Note: This is my 2009 holiday gift story to my readers. You can see the prompts from my readers that inspired the novella and my response to their prompts (both with major spoilers, so they're best read after you've finished the story).
Rating: PG-13.

Summary: No weapons, no allies, and no guarantees that he will survive the test.

Back when we were going to open Classic Recs I got a question about whether we might also include recs for Dollhouse. As both Dollhouse and Dr. Horrible are rather limited run series with comparatively small fandoms, it seemed to me that
buffyversetop5 could well provide a home for such recs without significantly changing the nature of the community. Of course, other fandoms have always made an appearance in recs for crossovers, but I think it's safe to say there's a good bit of overlap in fans of various Whedon projects, as well as actors, writers, etc.
So while the question was specifically about Dollhouse, I wanted to ask how people feel about including recs for Whedon projects in general? With a second installment of Dr. Horrible forthcoming next year, as well as various other one-off projects, becoming a general Whedonverse recs community might make more sense than adding some but not all projects.

In two weeks
buffyversetop5 will be open for all your 2009 recs. Essays, icons, archives, anything fan made that was active or created in 2009 is eligible.
Looking for particular sorts of recs? We’ve got a number of tag and memory categories so don’t forget to browse those. But this is a special post for people to let their fellow community members know what they’re hoping to get for the holidays.
Comment below with a line or two about what recs you’ve been hoping to see. If you see requests here that you could make a post about, start putting a Top 5 list together! The more people post, the more likely everyone will find what they’re looking for. Just remember, it must be fanmade Buffyverse or Firefly material created or continued in 2009.
Let’s not forget that one of the reasons for this community is to thank the creative people who have given us their work this year. Any Scrooge-like comments will be shown the door.
Remember, comments below should be your own wishes ONLY. Respond with Top 5 lists posted to the community once we open. If you have any questions about the Wish List post them here.
